Data Deletion

This site is operated by Argentix LLC, a Nevada limited liability company, doing business as Surgncy. Anyone can ask us to delete the information we hold about them, whichever state they live in. This page explains how to ask, what we delete, what we keep, and how long it takes.

How to request deletion

Email team@surgncy.com with the subject line "Delete my data". Send it from the email address you used with us, or include the phone number or business name we would know you by, so we can find your records. If we cannot tell that a request really comes from you, we will ask you to confirm a detail before we delete anything.

If you only want us to stop contacting you, you do not need a deletion request. Reply STOP to any text, or tell us by phone or email, and we will stop. Our Text Message Consent page explains how texts work.

What we delete

The information we hold that we can match to you from the email address, phone number or business name you give us. That includes what you sent through our quote form, our emails and text messages with you, recordings and notes of our calls with you, and anything we gathered about your business from public listings. If you were a client, it also includes the business details, photos and files you gave us to build your site.

What we keep

A few records stay, because we need them for legal reasons:

• Billing, tax and contract records, if you were a client.
• Records showing that you agreed to receive text messages from us, which can include the recording of a call where you agreed.
• If you asked us to stop contacting you, the phone number or email address we need to make sure we do not contact you again.
• Your deletion request and our reply, so we can show it was done.
• Anything we need for an open dispute or legal claim.

We keep these only for as long as we need them, and then we delete them too.

How long it takes and confirmation

We reply to confirm we have your request within 10 business days, and we finish deleting within 30 days. We email you when it is done, and we tell you if we had to keep anything and why. Copies in our backups clear out on their own within 45 days after that. A few outside services we use, such as our website analytics and server logs, can take up to 90 days to clear their copies.

If you are a customer of one of our clients

Some businesses hire us to run their websites and send texts and emails for them. If you gave your information to one of those businesses, it belongs to that business, not to us, so please ask them. If you email us instead, tell us which business and we will pass your request to them.
